Field Sales Manager

Job Purpose

To execute Commercial business strategy in the area of operation and pro-actively manage customer relationships to ensure sustained business growth through Sales First Tools such SPANCOP, Time Tracking amp; Weekly Plans.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Managing customer relationships to ensure development of sustainable business.
  • Grow the business both in volume and profitability(C3) in line with agreed annual targets.
  • Manage trade debtors to achieve trade debt ratio as specified in the annual plan.
  • Drive amp; implement class of business strategy in line with marketing policy amp; business principles.
  • Monitor effectiveness of marketing activities of competitors, collect and feedback competitor information.
  • Deliver customer value proposition.
  • Liase with Service centre amp; storage/Handling to ensure compliance with agreed delivery service levels and ensure delivery issues are resolved efficiently and timely.
  • Manage assets to ensure a high return on assets utilization.
  • Identify amp; prioritise key stakeholders (Community leaders, Environment NGOs,) with ability to impact (positively or negatively) Vivo Energy s business or reputation.
  • Participate effectively in the annual target setting process.
  • To manage business within agreed opex and capex limit.
  • Ensure that all customers have signed supply agreements.
  • Ensure full compliance with Vivo Energy General Business Principles and HSSE requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate must have:

  • University Degree in Sales/Marketing/Engineering or any related filed.
  • Commercial Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Sales amp; Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working in a marketing or sales environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
