Vivo Energy is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to assume the role of Business and Integration Manager 18 months FTC based in Botswana.

JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the integration of Engen into Vivo Energy, managing business operations across multiple countries, aligning ERP responsibilities, and implementing the growth strategy of the combined entity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Business Integration

  • Lead and oversee the seamless integration newly acquired businesses into Vivo Energy, ensuring a harmonious transition of operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes, systems, and cultures for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to implement the Group Strategy.
  • Identify and address challenges in the merging of operations efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at various levels to ensure a cohesive and collaborative profitability.
  • Identify and address challenges in the merging of operations to optimize efficiency approach to integration.

ii) Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  • Provide regular updates on the integration progress and address any concerns or challenges.

iii) Operations Management

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the regional teams.
  • Implement effective change management strategies to ensure employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Implement and drive operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and satisfaction.

iv) ERP Alignment

  • Oversee the alignment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) responsibilities across the integrated operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure a smooth integration of ERP systems, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve strategic objectives and financial targets.

Requirements

  • Appropriate business degree with 10 15 years’ experience as Country Managing Director, Country GM or Senior Business Lead.
  • Proven track record of having successfully managed large, challenging and even controversial change initiatives / projects.
  • Fully fluent in English
