Job Description

The Role

Belmond Safaris is looking for a General Manager to be based in our Savute Safari Lodge Safari, located in the Chobe National Park in Botswana. The General Manager will act as the business owner and drive excellence in line with Belmond’s and Belmond Safaris strategic plan.

Belmond Safari Lodges sparkle with a unique personality, and together form the ultimate Botswana safari, Elephants parade across the plains and against the Botswana sunrise. Predators kick up plumes of dust. The setting sun brings startling pink skies. With indulgent and elegant tented rooms, feasts of local delicacies and camps perfectly positioned for game spotting, Belmond safaris sizzle with savannah magic.

Beside the mysterious Savute Channel, this tented oasis is the perfect base to discover the wonders of Chobe National Park. Breathlessly captivating, this corner of Botswana has long been associated with the world’s greatest explorers, including David Livingstone. Follow in their footsteps at Savute Elephant Lodge. Head out to our unique viewing hide at dusk or dawn, overlooking the watering hole, and see elephants, hyenas and cheetahs in their element. Then find a serene welcome back at the lodge. The contemporary interiors reflects the earthy tones of the wilderness, while eco-friendly design features keep you in harmony with the stunning landscape.
