Hire Resolve's client is seeking an Oamp;M Solar Technician in Botswana. The Oamp;M Solar Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting solar systems in the region.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and troubleshooting solar systems for optimal performance
- Monitoring and evaluating plant performance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Inspecting and updating documentation on all system components, including inverters, batteries, and modules
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues with plant equipment and systems
- Collaborating effectively with the operations and maintenance team to ensure coordinated and efficient service
- Identifying areas of improvement in plant operations and recommending strategies for improvement
- Participating in safety, health and environmental audits, procedures, and training to ensure compliance and safety
Requirements
- +3 years’ experience in off grid solar technical experience
- Must hold a wireman license
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or higher
- Candidates currently based in Botswana will be preferred
